USMNT winger Tim Weah captained Olympique de Marseille in their 4-0 Ligue 1 season-opening victory over Strasbourg.

Weah started at right back and played the full 90 minutes in his new leadership role. The American joined Marseille permanently in June after a successful loan last season.

Meanwhile, fellow USMNT player Gio Reyna appeared as a substitute for Strasbourg, playing 21 minutes in his club debut. goldparty.lat
