Taylor mulls permanent Exeter City role

Matt Taylor is open to taking the permanent manager's role at Exeter City after his successful interim spell in charge.

Taylor, who has been leading Exeter since March following Gary Caldwell's departure to Wigan Athletic, will discuss the vacant position with the club after the season ends. The former Grecians captain and manager emphasized his affection for the club during his time at BBC Radio Devon. afsport.lat

The Devon side faces a crucial final day match against Bradford City, needing victory and hoping Leyton Orient fail to beat Burton Albion to secure their fifth consecutive season in League One. Taylor previously led Exeter to promotion from League Two in 2022 before leaving for Rotherham United.
