Rams Acquire Garrett from Browns in Blockbuster Trade

The Los Angeles Rams have acquired three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns in a blockbuster trade, sending edge rusher Jared Verse and a 2027 first-round pick to Cleveland.

The Rams are upgrading their pass rush by acquiring the premier defensive end in the game. Garrett, 30, is a five-time first-team All-Pro selection who set the NFL record with 23 sacks last season and has at least 14 sacks in each of the past five seasons.

In exchange, Cleveland receives Verse, the 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, who recorded 7.5 sacks and was a Pro Bowl selection last season. The Browns also receive a 2027 first-round pick with additional draft compensation still being negotiated. milkshake.it.com
