Negreira seeks removal from case after forensic report

The defense of former CTA vice‑president José María Enríquez Negreira asked the Barcelona court to exclude him from the investigation into €7.3 million payments to a former teammate, following a forensic report stating he lacks the mental capacity to understand the proceedings.

The request was filed with Juzgado de Instrucción nº 1 in Barcelona. The forensic report concluded that Negreira currently does not possess the volitional and cognitive abilities to comprehend the judicial process.
