Lanning: Bruins Resemble Indiana's National Title Team

With UCLA (4-0) visiting Oregon (3-1) on Saturday, Ducks coach Dan Lanning compared Bruins coach Bob Chesney's program turnaround to that of Indiana's Curt Cignetti. Both coaches came from James Madison, bringing coordinators and numerous transfers from their previous school.

"We're about to play a UCLA team that reminds me a lot of Indiana from last year," Lanning said, noting Indiana's journey from CFP semifinalists to national champions. The Bruins have surprised everyone with their perfect start under Chesney, who succeeded in turning around a program at a school traditionally known for basketball. amunra.qpon
