Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has named Tarik Skubal as the starting pitcher for Game 1 of the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday.

Tarik Skubal, acquired midseason from Detroit, will take the mound despite initial struggles with his new team. The left-handed ace finished the regular season 3-2 with a 2.52 ERA in eight starts for the Dodgers. forumteam.blog

The Dodgers (93-60) are in the postseason for the 14th consecutive season. Skubal's start could allow Yoshinobu Yamamoto or Blake Snell to pitch Game 2, while the Braves' starter remains unknown, possibly Chris Sale.
