Porter Jr. Feels Disrespected, Traded to Cowboys

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was traded from the Steelers to the Cowboys after expressing feeling 'disrespected' and 'underappreciated' by Pittsburgh.

Porter Jr., who was at the movies when he received news of the trade, expressed excitement about the move to Dallas. 'I'm not even gonna lie. I was actually at the movies when I got the call,' Porter said. 'I am blessed. I am excited. New chapter, new beginnings, and I'm ready.'

Porter did not play for the Steelers this season after not getting the contract extension he wanted. 'It was the value. I didn't feel like it was really that over there [in Pittsburgh]. [Dallas] is showing me that they value me more over here,' he explained. The cornerback is in the final year of his contract, making a $3.92 million base salary. newssport.cv
