McCarthy: Trade Was Shock, Opportunity

J.J. McCarthy admitted being shocked when he learned of his trade from the Vikings to the Giants, calling it unexpected but ultimately an opportunity. "When I got the call here, it was a shock. I didn't anticipate it, but at the end of the day, it's an opportunity," the 2024 first-round pick said via ESPN. amunra-opinie.pl

The Giants acquired McCarthy as they develop a plan to move forward without Jaxson Dart for the remainder of the season. While McCarthy hasn't been confirmed as Jameis Winston's backup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, his arrival suggests he'll get playing time soon. McCarthy acknowledged his time in Minnesota didn't go as planned but is focused on making the most of his fresh start with New York.
