Jaguars Release QB Nick Mullens After Ewers Trade

The Jacksonville Jaguars are releasing quarterback Nick Mullens in the wake of the Quinn Ewers trade, according to NFL Network.

Mullens, 31, joined the Jaguars in March 2025 on a two-year deal and appeared in five games last season, completing all three of his passes for 19 yards. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2017 and has appeared in 38 career games with 20 starts across San Francisco, Cleveland, Minnesota, and Jacksonville. afsport.lat

Aside from Ewers and starter Trevor Lawrence, the Jaguars also have Carter Bradley and rookie Joey Aguilar at quarterback with rosters set to be reduced to 53 players by 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.
